In this class, students will learn how to clean apples properly. Learn the different chocolates that can be used. How to achieve the perfect chocolate for dipping and coloring your chocolate. How to prepare your apples for dipping and dip molding your apple into a Rose. Learn how to create rose petals using Flexfrost and finish your apple rose by adding some shimmer to your apples and rose petals for that elegant look. All material are included. You will create two apples to take home with you.

Hello all, I am Melinda Ruiz, the owner of M Cakes and Sweet Treats, LLC and I live in San Antonio, Tx. I have been designing Custom Cakes, Cookies and treats for family and clients for over 25 years, started as a self-taught cake artist. I have been a professional Accountant for 35 years but my passion has always been decorating cakes, so I started M Cakes and Sweet Treats, LLC 4 years ago and have recently expanded my business to include cake/cookie supplies. I enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge to all skill levels including kids and provide group and private Cake, Cookie and Treat classes. I am a member of Federation International Pastry Gelato Chocolate organization (FIPGC) and have been board member for 4 years with Frosting Creators of San Antonio cake club.
